Tucked into the valley at the base of the Sherwin Mountain Range, with a view of Mammoth Mountain and a 360 degree view of the surrounding mountains, Snowcreek has got to be one of the most beautiful golf courses on earth! Take your camera to record your play in this amazing scenery at 8,000 feet Alpine altitude. Snowcreek is a public, 9-hole course, par 35, with natural streams and water hazards on seven of the nine holes. The course plays 3,306 yards from the back tees, and it's bunkered greens are challenging!
The tentative opening date for the golf course is May 15th, 2009. Normal operating times are May through October, depending on weather conditions here in Mammoth Lakes, where you may still see sno on the peaks as late as July! Snowcreek opened in 1991, designed by Ted Robinson of Laguna Niguel, CA who has designed over 140 courses worldwide and is one of the USA's most imaginative golf course architects.
