Agnew Meadows in the Red's Meadow area is one of the best to see wildflowers. Each year, different varieties of wildflowers dance across the mountainous landscape, and it is only accessible in the summer from late June to early October. Near the Meadow you will find Devils Postpile National Monument, Rainbow Falls, and Pack Stations for horseback riding.
To get to Red's Meadow, take the Shuttle from the Mammoth Mountain Inn at the main lodge. You can hike, bike and horseback ride through scenic trails of wildflowers, open meadows, secret watering holes, waterfalls and the unique Devils Postpile National Monument. The Visitors Center has several maps and guidebooks to help you find everything there is to do.
